/// i studied communication design at the »muthesius academy of fine arts and design« in kiel. in july 2009 i earned my BACHELOR'S DEGREE. my bachelor thesis was about illustration and type. i did 8 large sized drawings and 7 letters with a brush and black acrylic paint. the illustrations show black and white graphic shapes. from drawing 1 to 8 the graphics change and the viewer is able to recognize the process i want to depict: how my illustrations become type.

meet little audeline. pale as a corpse she drifts along the streets, moving her skinny arms and legs like a sweet jellyfish moves his tentacles. but what is it that makes this pretty little slip of a girl look so clumsy and fragile like a twig in stormy weather?
